Why is this a musical? Across the board, vocals are mediocre to bad, the songs distract rather than contribute to the plot, and not a single one of the “songs” are even slightly memorable.
Also, no one can keep gaslighting me into thinking Selena Gomez is a good actor.
Cannot even begin to wrap my head around how this is an actual contender for a Best Picture Oscar at this point in the season.
That being said, I will always cheer on movies that at least try to do something unique, which this certainly does.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s McConaughey impersonation was hilarious.
