Petition to get Fight Club out of the top 250 and replace it with Wall-E instead please Letterboxd.

After 19 years and over 500 movies into my life later this film still means the multiverse to me. To me personally this is the pinnacle of art, my favorite love story of all time that always fills me with hope and joy upon every rewatch.

If Wall-E being alone for over 700 years can find himself true love then my nerdy Nintendo, film, and anime loving self can too.

Ginko is the coolest dude in existence I don’t smoke but if he offered me the cigarettes he be smokin then you bet your ass I’m taking a smoke break with him.

Around close to a year ago I went on this wonderful journey with this show and it became my favorite show of all time. Watching 1 episode per night always calmed me down and felt extremely meditative while also feeling slightly creepy/unnerving in a way I have never…

No tears, just silence and depression.

My heart hurts now. That one shot in the last few minutes legit felt like someone stabbed me with a knife. I could feel the pain the characters felt, it was depressing and brutal.

This is the most accurate portrayal of how it feels to chew 5 gum I’ve ever seen in media

One of the easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given.

When this film ended I was speechless, I didn’t cry but it felt so real and hit so hard that I was just destroyed and silent at the end of it. And on the car ride home I listened to the main theme and just reflected on the movie, still feeling destroyed and then I finally broke down crying.

Trying to describe how good this film is won’t do it justice, just go in completely blind.

    Masterpiece.
