  I guess this is the third sad gay movie I’ve watched in the last three days. I’m not gay, but each film is so fire that it almost makes sense to watch them in succession.

  Okay it’s very very good. The thing that resonates with me the most is the films ability to reach such a wide audience with a niche protagonist. When movies attempt to impact literally everybody, oftentimes our main character is far too broad to hammer that impact home. In this case, Chiron is so individualistic and unique yet the filmmakers still make him somebody we as an audience can connect with. This is done through brilliant writing and acting sewn together.…
