  A great movie that has the elements of a masterpiece but (I think) ultimately can’t get there. The only reason that’s a relevant criticism is because it clearly has the ambition to be a masterpiece.

  The cinematography, the score, and fucking Adrien Brody are beyond incredible. I could stare at Adrien Brody’s face for days. And if you’re going to dedicate a film to Scott Walker, the score needs to really bring it.
