Competent all around. Nothing exceptional.
Personally I'd have liked to see more about the Madoff scam in action, as this film focuses predominantly on the period after the scandal is exposed. That's fine too, it's an interesting subject in its own right. I just couldn't help thinking, "But HOW did he get away with it for SO LONG?" and this film doesn't delve into that very much. I still don't feel like I know all that much about what Madoff DID...
