A fun experience in the theater but it had some drawbacks. I’m not a fan of narration, and although I appreciate my boy Rob doing a funny voice, he kind of sounded like an American dub of an anime. Actually a lot of this reminded me of anime in a bad way. I don’t like anime. I also find political satire in the Trump era tiring. This could have been an interesting exploration on the ethics of cloning or “multiples” and instead we got space Trump. The themes were all over the place. Anyway, I will continue to watch anything with Robert Pattinson in it.

Some Netflix exec watched Bridgerton and Fleabag and thought they could make some money. The "person with 2020s sensibilities in a period piece" schtick doesn't work for me because it's very distracting. You can make a sincere adaption of a regency era story and have it turn out good (Pride and Prejudice).
In the last movie I saw (Where the Crawdads Sing), I complained about Brits trying to do American accents and now we have an American playing the lead…
