  I really vibed with the first two acts of this movie when it tried to focus on being about war photograhpy. But damn did it nosedive in the third act. Genuinely that part of the movie soured my opinion so much. I don't know whether it was Garland or the studio's fault on this one.

  Little late (in many respects) to reviewing this one, but I got to watch it again via Fathom at my theater back at home. There's a weird place in my heart for this movie. It's by no means perfect, the pacing near the end of the movie is something to be desired and the antagonist has about as much depth as an empty cardboard box. But damn if it isn't still funny (intentionally so), sexy, and just a piece of authentic pop cinema that I will watch anytime it's on.
