No, I did not feel things watching the end of this preposterous movie, dammit.
By the way, Venom sings “Tequila.”

OK, so not the masterpiece the first one is (I believe the script was rushed). But Del Preston is funny, James Hong is funny, believe it or not Chris Farley is funny. Rip Taylor's assessment of The Doors is funny. Aerosmith rocks.
I never noticed until today that the Wayne's World posters look a lot like Aerosmith's first album cover. That's probably a coincidence, but also probably not? If everyone realized this but me, I'm gonna be bummed.
I hadn't seen this since it first came out. It might be the first horror movie I ever watched, and I loved it then on those terms. I just thought it was a good, scary movie. I didn't remember how cheerful and fun it is — the goofy friendship of Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward, the fun of Michael Gross and Reba's doomsday preppers (and his accent), and the monsters are called graboids! All of that is awesome. Every escalation…
Ann-Margaret steals this one. I thought she was selfish for wanting him to quit racing, until I saw the orgy of death at the end.
The race and the movie just kind of end, but then they play the title song for the third time, so all is well.
