  Is this an oscar worthy movie? No. Is it a good movie? Also no. Was I entertained? Yeah.
  This movie has some really great disaster porn. And some unintentionally hilarious scenes. Gerard butler's accents shifts constantly. The wife has no character traits other than wife, same with the son.
  I didn't really care about the characters but watching things happen was pretty fun also good premise.
  P.S- orange sky isn't scary anymore (I live in california)

  Promising Young Woman 2020

  I didn't start really enjoying this movie until the second half. During the first half I thought the motivation and goal of Cassandra needed to be fleshed out more espically the relationship with her friend. But once it got going it got great, by the middle of the movie I was glued to my seat. The movie has some great really funny scenes and it's social commentary is fantastic. It's a good me too revenge story but the first half has some "filler scenes" that make it kinda drag. Good movie tho 7/10

  -on the nose (seriously idk how many shots we need of people chowing down on cake, or breaking lobster tails to get the message that capitalism has flaws and wealth inequality is bad)
  -too metaphorical plot starts to not make sense (especially the ending)
  -stale characters
  -repetitave
  Overall: interesting movie about classism that sometimes gets way too up its own ass. Not bad, but also not the best movie tackling these same themes.
