The last third of the film felt slightly detached from the other parts, but I feel like it blended alright.
I loved the folk lore in this. Any film with folk lore I’m a little bias towards to be honest.
It felt like they did a “tell” instead of “show” which was meh. The film definitely could’ve been better but for what it was, it was nice.
I went into this thinking it was going to be something like Dead Poets Society, let’s just say I was pleasantly surprised.
For a film that mainly takes place on a train, you just never get bored. I loved all the characters in this movie and all their backstories were so interesting. Each character felt like the main character, having a lot of depth to them even though they may not have been on screen for too long.
Noice movie 👍
As someone who is a fan of analogue horror, this film was such an incredible experience.
Practical effects in horror films give me such an uncomfortable and satisfying feeling that CGI can’t , even if it tried. There’s something about seeing a thing so graphic and unsettling, and knowing that if you were there you could reach out and touch it.
This is definitely one of those films where you uncover more when watching it again and again.
