Every gun makes it own tune

I'm finding it hard trying to find where to begin. Sergio Leone takes us on a cinematic adventure following the journey of three people. The Good (Clint Eastwood's Blondie). The Bad (Lee Van Cleef's Angel Eyes). And The Ugly (Eli Wallach as Tuco).

Starting off with The Ugly or Tuco, it's less about physical appearance and more on the moral stance and actions this character displays. We see his lack of empathy for his…

He did it before it was cool.

The experimental work with shadows and this visual trip of special effects in this film are something I've yet to see before. It truly gets the viewer thinking about how what they're seeing makes them feel. I'd be confident in saying that this film still holds strong today, because of how the effects are unique and how it's not heavily reliant on the limited technology in the 1920's.

Certainty is the great enemy of unity. Certainty is the deadly enemy of tolerance. Even Christ was not certain at the end, 'Eli Eli, lama sabachtani?' (My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?) he cried out in his agony at the ninth hour on the cross. Our faith is a living thing precisely because it walks hand in hand with doubt. If there was only certainty and no doubt, there would be no mystery and therefore no need…

You could never please me like he could

What a way to start off this year of film. RE single-handedly saved the reputation of modern vampire cinema. Nosferatu 1922 paved the way for a lot of what we see in modern vampire Hollywood films but with this modernised take there has been a drastic downfall from the original folktales.

You can tell with every frame of this that Eggers put so much time and care into making sure this was…

Two weeks, and your mum invites me to her house on Long Beach. Is it casual now?

This is perfect. This is genuinely perfect. I don't know if it comes from a form of relation but I see this as a perfect example of healing.
If the initial isn't as hard hitting enough, once u see them after a bit and feel that spark again only to get shut out once again that leaves you in a worse state than…
