I’m going to pretend the epilogue never happened so I can say this was the best film I saw all year because… wtf was that? 💀
Epilogue jokes aside, holy shit. The pacing was incredibly impressive - 215 minutes and I never felt disengaged. The casting and character development was top notch. The cinematography alone certainly deserves the Oscar. It encapsulated this feeling of bittersweet nostalgia as if through the lens of an old time photo journalist’s. timeless yet ephemeral…
