  Little Women is a great story and all the various movie adaptations do it justice. Maybe I’m biased having grown up watching this version every year (and crushing on young Christian Bale, courtesy of this film and Newsies) — but it’s quintessential. The score is lovely, the costumes and sets are beautiful and cozy. There’s a very homey atmosphere to it all.

  Seeing this in the theater for the first time, and having a collective cry when Beth gets her piano, was a real treat. 🫶🏼
