  I guess they just improvised?
  Honestly, it was an enjoyable movie even if far from what happened in the book in some instances. I especially adored the costume design, makeup and generally the film looked beautiful.

  It’s such a weird period of time we live in where we can watch movies about historical events that are still ongoing while others live them. 
  Very sad movie overall, great actors.

  Just plain american-lithuanian propaganda about how communism is bad lol. as a lithuanian myself i can say that we’re fed this all our lives. I never really understood what was the point of romance in this story at all. the “based on true events” thing is annoying too but oh well. all in all don’t watch it.
