the way this film makes you follow the clues just like the characters do is phenomenal. the time lapses to represent the passing of time between zodiac letters/murders are genius. fincher is so intricate with every single shot choice, yet light handed - the visual never overpowers the narrative and vice versa.
jake gyllenhaal is amazing and fucking hot and i love him.
