Sound of Metal 2019
As someone whose life revolves around music, I found this movie very powerful. It did such a great job of painting the anger and despair that would come with realizing that your life that derives so much joy from music and sound is turning into complete silence. I think this movie is such an important watch.

The movie? Not good. Zac Efron using the cue button and using an actual production software when he's making music? Fire. They honestly portrayed the whole producer/DJ thing well (albeit a little corny). I also love how Zac had headphones around his neck for 90% of the movie as if you must always have headphones on in order to be a DJ hahaha.
