  “Let the past die. Kill it if you have to. It's the only way to become who you were meant to be.”

  Seeing this again on the big screen was like a religious experience for me. A movie so good that it shattered pop culture and the aftershocks are still being felt all these years later. It’s hard for me to organise my thoughts about how much I love Episode VIII.

  Ahhhh… I wish I had nicer things to say. Underwhelming after I’d allowed myself to get excited for this one. 

  There were some effective moments of horror, but it ultimately accomplishes nothing that the previous films hadn’t and felt like a lot of retreading familiar territory.
