My good friend @tpereira9 sent me a video today of Jordan Peele talking about creating suspense. He said “the scariest thing you can put an audience through is allowing their imagination to go crazy.” So I immediately rewatched the film that came to mind. The one that sparked my fear of the ocean.
I could get into how much of a miracle it was that this film was finished with all the mechanical shark malfunctions, rough sea conditions, budget going way…
