No Country for Old Men 2007
Thank you Joel and Ethan Coen, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, and Tommy Lee Jones, and Roger Deakins for this masterpiece.
This is one of those ‘let it wash over you’ films. The story itself is great and the performances are outstanding (specifically Javier Bardem) but you gotta feel this movie. It has a presence. It’s hard to describe, but if you watch a movie and you feel it, you know what I’m talking about.

Hard to write a review bc I have tons of thoughts so I’ll do bullet points instead
-Leonardo DiCaprio’s acting is amazing, he sells it perfectly
-This is very much a slow burn
-The ending was unique, kinda felt inspired by Wes Anderson
