The Holdovers 2023
Have heard great things about this movie but was admittedly a little disappointed. Way longer than it needs to be. Sad for the entire thing until the end when it’s slightly less sad. Giamatti very good as usual but not super entertaining.

Was looking forward to this one. One thing about me is I will always be seated for a Ferrell flick. He had some good moments, still has the spot on delivery but I’m sorry to say he has lost his fastball a bit. It’s like watching Federer last run at Wimbledon when he could still beat a couple shmucks but before you know it he’s getting dogged by Hubie Hurkacz. Witherspoon somehow looks great and is alsmsot 50. It’s too long and a little ridiculous (alligator scene) but not a total disaster.
