  Really solid movie. This felt exactly like what it was ( a more fleshed out, enticing version of a fist full of dollars). The dynamic with two bounty hunters is better, the plot (although very convoluted) is better. Obviously a very similar plot but just better. Even the same actors. Really solid fun Western overall. Score awesome. Took a nice nap in the middle.

  Did  not love this. I liked this less than even once upon a time in the west. I know this is generally Leone’s first spaghetti western and his budget was lower but that’s really not anything to do with my dislike for this. I was thinking the entire time this is literally identical to Yojimbo. Lo and behold Kurosawa sued Leone for this and got 15% of the revenue from this. It’s an identical movie. The set…
