Did a really good job of making a long science movie seem brief and exciting. Great concept and hard for me to dislike cillian. Fell far short on depicting the consequences of grief and mental struggle. Lacked some umph, but had some individual gem scenes. Kind of wanted a full movie on Albert after.

Bad but fun

I very rarely enjoy love movies but this was one of the best I’ve seen. Left me longing for simpler times of peak random romance without the shallow clouds of profiles and brands. Still impressed by the sincerity of the natural conversation and simple dynamics of the characters. Finding out about the way they crafted and wrote this took it to 5 star territory.

Big Jake Gyllenhaal fan and enjoyed this one. The double character thing has been botched before but they pulled it off pretty well and I liked it better once I digested it a bit. Viewing it as a theme for a mid life crisis and mental health along with googling to see the signs I missed = satisfied Jake
