Perfect set up and knockdown story and jokes. Every character gets their awesome moment, and meaningful relationships. The action is outstanding, and the pacing is near perfect.

The Breakfast Club 1985
It’s a classic for a reason, but it’s definitely showing its age. Some of the quieter scenes and the moments the students talk truthfully are well done, but the switch from that to goofy antics is way too jarring. I think if the movie was less concerned with moving to the next crazy beat and let the moments breath more it’d work a little better. Plus, just like many of John Hughes’ other films, the romance between Claire and Bender…
