Could have feasibly replaced the second 'Sweet' in the title with 'Stupid.'

It's a ghost story of sorts with queer undertones, the latter of which weren't super critical to the plot. It felt like 100 things I've seen before, but simultaneously it was kind of hard to decipher what was happening.

Aesthetically, this read like an 80s after-school special with some Nickelodeon horror vibes. Surprisingly it worked! The cinematography and art choices were excellent.

Alternate title for this one could have been “Masterpiece Theater presents British Horror Story: Pet Sematary.”

If you’ve watched enough direct to Shudder British horror, you know what you’re signing up for – dry, understated and pointless.

I can see why people might not like this...Longlegs gets a little Twin Peaksy with the rules of the universe and plot. I personally think Osgood Perkins withheld explanation more than it didn't make sense, but if you land on the latter and penalize it as a result I get it.

Once you step outside plot mechanics, I think this was perfect.

Incredible cinematography...probably the best I've seen in a while. With a mediocre edit, this is easily a low…
