The most a03 coded film- there’s no plot other than them although arguably that’s the point because she’s all consumed. How can one of the major plot devices be consent and the contract and yet he pays no heed to consent. Poor women even in a film about sex there’s no foreplay. However, I was very intrigued by her, she kept me guessing and I did want to know what did decide. It’s also incredibly aesthetically pleasing and the music is great- it’s more of an experience than a movie.

Nosferatu 2024
Deliberately and successfully baffling at the start. The sense of horror is palpable you’re entirely on edge with good jump scares and some hideous scenes. Was contrived at times especially the ending but it was a fitting ending nonetheless. Still don’t understand the background but that doesn’t matter because you can feel its pull and effect. Visually beautiful especially the shadows and light. William Dafoe spectacular.

Brilliant music love Pete Seeger and Joan Baez anyway. This made me want to see their biopics if they existed. Bob Dylan much like Elton John isn’t afraid to show how awful he was unlike most celebs. I’m not bothered by us never really getting to know anything about him because I feel that is the point nobody ever did.
