Was kinda vibing with this for the first 40 minutes even with its preposterous hook—imagine the world reacting the same way to, like, Phil Collins’ follow-up to the TARZAN soundtrack. But there’s no build; apart from a couple creepy elements on the fringe and an early murder scene, the only scene outside of Ayo’s perspective (as though they knew they were missing any reason to care), nothing happens until EVERYTHING happens. This reached a point where I, quite frankly, hated every new choice.
