    Never sunk its teeth into me. Thoroughly boring, but beautiful to look at, at times. 
    Requires a certain familiarity with early Nazi history that I have no desire of obtaining. My dad loved something about its hopeless mellow dramatic stabs at sorrow, the more I think about it, the less I agree.

    Cried twice once more for different times in different places. 
    An extra element of earnestness in viewing this at home with pops as opposed to seeing big Tim on the silver screen in theaters — interesting.

    P.S. heavily recommend getting very stoned and doing a double feature with Playboi Carti’s Rolling Loud performance. Tickled something in my brain, dilated my third eye.

    5 stories, 5 million characters, 3 aspect ratios, 2 colors, 2 languages, voiceover, tableau vivant, animation, perfect composition, perfect score, perfect costumes, perfect lighting all packed up and pressed and creased and gift wrapped into 103 minutes.
