heaps of underlying points and changes in narrative focus but not enough development to make any one of them THE focus, and left a lot of the conclusive elements being completed in subtext. whilst it nicely discusses all the presented subjects and nuances, i can’t help but feel the film is stronger when it’s slower and closer to mickey.
really what i’m trying to say is that i wanted more mickey. all of mickey. he’s so fine. blows my mind. hey mickey.
