My Top 4 changes frequently
(Top 4 OAT: Revenge of the sith, The shining, 2001 a space odyssey, Heat)
Francis Ford Coppola in the 70’s was seriously on another level. Masterpiece after masterpiece for an entire decade.
This is the best war film ever made and definitely up there as one of the best films ever made, at least for me.
This just has so many themes ram packed within the characters especially the 2 main Colonels. The messages about morality and the construct of societal norms.
Always a joy to my ears as well as my eyes when…
Startin Christmas off with a bang!
What a film. Flawless adaptation of the Batman and Gotham City. Performances were delivered with real conviction especially Colin Farrell, get that man an award!
Score matched with perhaps the best visuals of any Batman film make for a more than stellar experience for 3 hours. Can’t wait for the second part to see which villains Matt Reeves goes for.
De Niro did the best he could with ultimately, a snooze fest.
Thoroughly enjoyed this. A film that you can put on any time and have fun, a rare comedy-coming of age that is genuinely good. This just hit different personally with it not being long until I’m done with ‘High school` or in the UK, secondary school, and it just feels weird not knowing what’s going to end up happening to the people you’ve known for so long. So many possibilities and life just keeps movin’ on. Honestly, this rating could’ve been higher, maybe next time. (Alec, I see why you love this)
