  A mysterious and powerful take on modern American identity with a horror twist combined with another twist! The film details how a simple home invasion evolves into a nightmarish and eerie nexus event symbolising the unity of these hidden bodies. This wasn’t as good as Get Out or Nope but I still have lots of questions just as I had with the others. Overall pretty good

  Watched this again with the pretty awful English dubbing but the action and story still hit just as hard with its snappy editing style and satisfying fight choreography. Still really good not much else to say, read my original review if you want a bigger discussion on why I like it. Overall, really good.

  A satisfying and fun sequel to the previous trilogy which aims to continue Ceaser’s legacy as well as call back to the original novel’s themes. I thought the special effects were amazing as obviously they have to keep it to a high standard the whole time, the apes all look distinguished and unique which helps to elevate their characterisation. I liked the alternate perspective on the world and how the themes of the previous film has now been fully subverted…

  This was epic! It was like the Notebook but with cool martial arts. In all seriousness, Ang Lee directed a masterpiece of a love story accompanied with stylised martial arts which look more like dancing than fighting; the fights were well choreographed and featured a variety of unique set pieces utilising a whole arsenal of weapons.
