Beetlejuice Beetlejuice 2024
As a standalone movie: a cacophony of weird stuff that doesn’t make sense. As a sequel: a shameless cash grab that relies on the names attached to the film for anyone to see it. I was a huge fan of the original, but this was just exhausting to watch. I appreciate how much work went into the production design but outside of that, the writing was pretty awful, I was giving them the benefit of the doubt the whole way but it had nothing. Highly recommend not seeing this if you enjoyed the original.
