Seeing ‘The Substance’ on a big screen with a crowd was the right choice, let me tell you. If you can see it that way, do. The bigger the screen the better. Rub your face in it. I avoided trailers and synopses beforehand, and if it’s not too late I recommend doing that too. The print campaign for this movie does not want to tell you too much, and neither do I.
