Black Bag 2025
Black Bag is definitely a Soderbergh joint, heard the bongos and saw the yellow tinted low lighting almost immediately, great. He does such a great job setting a mood and pulling performances out of his actors.
Cate Blanchett. All I have to say really. Fassbender is an incredible dominant persona. Was great seeing Brosnan again, wiping away the Black Adam funk. The rest of the supporting cast are very lively and believable.
The story gets just slightly convoluted as they start to close in, but its a good finish in the end. Solid pace.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers 1956
Body Snatchers does a lot with little. It doesn't have grand effects, action heavy military presence, or a global scale - but what it presents is still frightening enough.
The plot has a few nice twists, McCarthy and Wynter pair well together, and it's a breezy pace. Good score and direction too, and the ending satisfies.
