not to rag on some other people in this comment section but everybody asking 'where are the scares' 'where's the horror' 'this didn't make me jump' go back to terrifier and five nights at freddy's, are you twelve years old? if you're an adult, proper ghost stories are about history and trauma and the sins of our ancestors and grief and the rot within families. i mean slimy monsters are cool too but there's a time and a place, people, and that time and place is NOT the bbc's ghost stories for christmas
