Well this movie was a f*cking delight! It made me feel things that weren't anger and made me giggle. I love the cast, I love the the movie, and I now love symphonic post apocalyptic reindeer-grinding Christ-abusing extreme war pagan Fennoscandian metal.
If you are sad, you should watch this.

This movie hits a lot different when you are closer to Demi Moore's age. Demi Moore was a triumph and my heart broke for her. I will see anything Coralie directs. She has my allegiance.
I never want to see Dennis Quaid eat anything ever again. That was the real horror.
It started off so strong and I was totally digging it... Until I wasn't. It's half of a great movie and I was so sad when it went off the rails. There were so many choices they could have made and they going back to nostalgia and fan service.
Andy was the breakout performance. Even in his worst moments, I was still rooting for him.
And now we can no longer deny the real villain is Weyland Yutani.
