Just realized that the ending scene is a metaphor for sex & them getting what they want. The hug between Art & Patrick is the is a metaphor for the climax & alludes to the threesome scene. I also saw the hug as a reconciliation of sorts & them realizing that Tashi ain’t shit.

I made sure to not watch the original, so I could enjoy this film. I feel inclined to watch the original film now.
Eric was a bland character til the “my soul for hers” ordeal. It was like watching Brendon Urie cosplay using hot topic temporary tattoos. FKA Twigs did an amazing job per usual. I thought they had chemistry, but maybe that’s just me. The only appealing aspect of this movie was the romance. And how is this horror?! The only scary things about this movie was the pacing & tacky costuming(no offense).
