    From Ground Zero

    I was continuously moved during From Ground Zero. The 22 short films serve their purpose of creating a series of vignettes about life during the ongoing genocide in Gaza. There is a wide breadth of emotions displayed. Unsurprisingly, oppression, grief, and despair are chief among these, but there is also love, joy, and hope. Seeing the creativity with limited resources on display was a true show of the resiliency of the human spirit. I hope this movie can serve as a memory rather than solely an in memoriam.
