what the fuck…??? my brain is literally short-circuiting while i try to write this review. all i can say for sure is that some of y'all are going to absolutely despise this film; its fucking weird, especially if you’re a stranger to surrealism and came in expecting a cute queer love story (like i did by bringing along my literal 15-year-old sister, my mom is going to annihilate me for letting her see this). Twin Peaks 1989
Seasons 1 & 2.
In honor of Lynch I’ve been rewatching the entire series and supplementing it with all the books. Season 1 and 2 are even more spectacular than I remembered from the first time around, perhaps made even better by reading Laura Palmer’s diary between the seasons. Next up, Dale Cooper’s autobiography and FWWM.
This is without a doubt one of the best television shows ever made. David Lynch, your legacy will live on forever.
