A worthy adaptation that stays true to the original, but builds on the intensity. Skarsgard is unrecognizable in not only appearance but his voice as well. The cinematography is also brilliant, which has come to be expected of a Robert Eggers film. It’s a shame it will mostly likely be snubbed of an Oscar nomination.
