The film used and colors throughout were so warm and inviting. It was unique for a prison movie, highlighting the warmth and coziness their group was able to create in spite of the sterile dehumanizing prison.
The fact that many of the original people the story was based on played themselves blew me away. There is so much raw acting talent on display, it’s a really special movie. Sad at moments, but full of hope and light.
