    A Simple Plan

    ★★★★

A simple movie with a simple plan.

The film is a well thought out and great representation of how small town folks would handle finding life changing money. It's like Notorious B.I.G. once said, Mo Money Mo Problems. One minute your the luckiest person in the world and the next minute your not. Perfect acting, decent directing, great writing, tragic story. Easily would re-watch this.

Stanley Kubrick sure feels like the master of unsettling

File A Clockwork Orange in the critically acclaimed flicks that's just not for me. Yea it has some great camera work and interesting cinematography but I found it really boring. It's definitely one of the weirdest films I've seen and is obsessed with sex and nudity. A lot of it was more off-putting than I…

    "We are all monkeys!"

I saw 12 Monkeys forever ago and didn't remember anything about this film other than the cast. The time loop structure was quite confusing yet fascinating at the same time. At some points it felt like a tough rewatch since nothing in the plot is obvious but once the ending settled I appreciated the story. My favorite part was the impressive Brad Pitt and by far my least favorite thing was the way Madeleine Stowe said advertisement.

    The Killer

I am definitely glad I saw this in theaters because every bit of the film-making hit me much harder than it would have if I was sitting in my living room. There are over-the-top aspects of a traditional assassin film that I wanted to see, but were missing and it kind of feels like that was the point of this original take on the genre. The Killer is instantly in the discussion for Netflix's best original film but my expectations were way too high to ever be met.
