I used to call Downton Abbey my 'guilty pleasure' without knowing why. Probably cause of people being like " YOU are watching THAT?!"
It just happens to my comfort show... something that takes my mind off the real world and my own struggles. So naturally I like the film too. I fell in love with the costumes and buildings and the whole atmosphere. And of course the characters grew on me too. Very enjoyable and entertaining.
