A very interesting movie. It gets increasingly more depraved, which allows Matt Dillon to showcase some incredible acting. The end felt tacked on to me, I think it can end 15 minutes or so earlier.

Alien: Romulus 2024
There's plenty to like here. The movie generally looks great and most of the performances are good too (David Johnson is the standout here), but it's painfully obvious that Álvarez doesn't have much to say besides how cool he thinks the Alien franchise is. Coupled with some god-awful digital necromancy and it makes for a disappointing rerun of better movies.
