A Real Pain 2024
Equal parts funny and deeply emotional. Really enjoyable watch, great performances and great script. One of the best films I've seen in recent years which functions too as a character study.

Terrifying and compelling. I loved how much there was to consider and analyse in this scary ass film about ghost girls. I prefer Ringu (SORRY Grudge stand!!) But this was still great.

The GOAT Christmas movie. Like it or not, this is Chris Columbus' greatest achievement (no, finding the new world was quite frankly a DUD and a mistake).
This was always going to be a hugely successful film, with production backing reaching hundreds of thousands of budget funding no matter what - this was the first film entry to a book series which had 4 bestsellers out by this point and a 5th anticipated that same year or next. But thanks…
