Perhaps the best screen adaptation of a musical I have ever seen.
The wild theatrics paired with the amazing talent of the starlets really makes this phenomenal viewing. I specifically loved the seamless transitions between reality and Roxie’s imagination. The gripping storyline mixed with the over the top spectacle of the vaudeville performances proves that this is a 10/10 production.
This film also shows the versatility of Renée Zellweger not only as an actor but as a triple threat entertainer.
