Jackass Forever (2022)
Directed by Jeff Tremaine Starring Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Weeman, Preston Lacy, and Ehran McGhehey.
Second time seeing this since seeing in theaters upon release...
Positives:
- First thought. Poopies is so funny. I love unintentionally funny characters.
- There's some really funny stunts as per usual and some big laughs. And I actually enjoy the introduction of the new young cast of characters.
Negatives:
- But there's something kind of depressing in this…
Men in Black ll (2002)
Directed by Barry Sonnenfeld. Starring Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Rosario Dawson, Lara Flynn Boyle, and Rip Torn.
From top to bottom, It's shocking how much of a step back this is from the first movie.
Somehow with $50 million more dollars to work with (films total budget = $140 mil. Up from $90 mil in the first) the special effects are a disaster. Like friggin "shark boy & lava girl" level effects at some points...…
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999)
Directed by Jay Roach. Starring Mike Myers, Heather Graham, Seth Green, Michael York, Mindy Sterling, Verne Troyer and Rob Lowe.
God knows how many times I've seen this movie. I'm always taken at how non stop the jokes come at you in this series. Never a dull moment, no time wasted, and so, so funny.
This take might be controversial, but I think that whilst "The Spy Who Shagged Me" might have…
**Midnight Run (1988)**
Directed by Martin Brest. Starring Robert De Niro, Charles Grodin, Yaphet Kotto, John Ashton, Joey Pants and Dennis Farina.
This is like if Rainman was a buddy cop movie (Rainman Run). What I'm trying to say is, Charles Grodin is touched in this. Tap dancing on the spectrum. Highly regarded.
So many "that guy's" in this. And a all time heat check performance by Dennis Farina.
The 80s are hilarious. Every movie is tonely the same. Goofy ass decade... Tremendous. 4 bags of popcorn 🍿🍿🍿🍿
