Donnie Darko 2001
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Overall score: 88/100
Confusing in the best possible way.
A film like this isn’t designed to be understood and digested or even interpreted fully in one watch. It’s complex, layered and so deep that you cannot possibly wrap your head around its many meanings in one go.

The Last Voyage of the Demeter 2023
Overall Score: 24/100
The potential this film had to be great, to really be one of the best horror films and best creature films is absolutely insane and what’s even crazier is how badly they dropped the ball and missed the mark in almost every aspect.
The design and look of Dracula were done really well. He truly looked menacing, unstoppable and well designed/crafted, unfortunately he only got a total of maybe 5 minutes screen time for the entire film…

Trap 2024
Overall Score: 40/100
As one of my most highly anticipated films of the year, this was quite disappointing.
Firstly, it was shot very very well. Camera work was exquisite and clean, the visuals were insanely good and I loved the variety of shots we got, all which enhanced most scenes.
Josh Hartnett was wonderfully good. He was able to perfectly balance psychotic with creepy, with regular guy. His facial acting was what carried most scenes.
Where this movie falls apart…
