I don’t know how I managed to be disappointed in a film called Tall Girl. Like this premise is ridiculous but for a bit I was on board. 

In my own head canon, Tall Girl doesn’t get bullied because of her height but actually because she’s a bit of a bitch. There’s a moment where her incredibly supportive black best friend is trying to cheer her up and Tall Girl, without a hint of irony, tells her that she doesn’t understand her hardships. Just goes to show you, just because a girl is tall, doesn’t mean her heart is big (I couldn’t help myself).

To think, if this hadn’t have been filmed before the pandemic we may not have got those great spitting moments...
