Not an Oscar-worthy performance imo, though I don’t doubt Culkin is capable of it. The writing and characterisation was at times a touch too on the nose for me to feel like these were real people. I think it was most obvious this was a directorial debut during the stilted introduction of each character at the beginning of the tour - some janky editing, odd cuts and zooms, and overly-conscious performances.
