An experimental love story that’s not only about romance but also about accepting someone and their baggage that comes with it. It’s beautiful when it needs to be and doesn’t let its limitations from its budget stop it from telling its story. A few moments does get lost in translation due to its artsy nature but it still remembers to hit the mark.

Love Jones is such a odd case for me. I recommend seeing this movie for anyone who is curious even though I expected more. Love Jones disappointed me because it was far from the super romantic movie that is associated with it. I wouldn’t call they’re relationship toxic but it is dysfunctional as hell.
